Terms of Service

Effective

These terms apply when you use knod.ai. They are short on purpose.

Read the site, ask us things, do not attack it or pass our work off as yours, and understand that a marketing website is not a contract for the product. That is most of it.

Agreeing to these terms

By using knod.ai you agree to what is written here. If you do not agree with something, please do not use the site, and tell us why at [email protected]. We would rather hear it.

What these terms cover

These terms cover this website: the pages you read and the forms you submit.

They are not the terms for the Knod product. If your organization runs an event on Knod, that is governed by the separate written agreement between Knod and that organization. Nothing on this website changes that agreement, and nothing on this website creates one. Prices and plans shown here are an invitation to talk, not a binding offer.

Who may use this site

You need to be at least 16 years old. If you are using the site for an organization, you are telling us you are allowed to act for that organization when you submit a form.

Using our forms

Our forms exist so that a person at Knod can reply to a person who wants to talk. When you use one, please:

  • Give us information that is accurate, including a real email address
  • Only submit someone else's details if you are entitled to
  • Do not send us confidential material you are not free to share

What you send is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Things not to do

Please do not:

  • Break into the site, probe it for weaknesses, or interfere with how it runs
  • Submit automated, bulk, or deliberately false enquiries
  • Scrape the site to build a competing product or a mailing list
  • Use it to send anything unlawful, deceptive, or abusive
  • Copy the design or writing and present it as your own

If you believe you have found a security problem, we would genuinely like to know. Write to [email protected] before publishing it, and we will work with you.

Our content and our name

The writing, design, photography, code, and the Knod name and logo on this site belong to Knod, Inc. or to the people we licensed them from. You may read the site, link to it, and quote it fairly with attribution. You may not reproduce it wholesale, and you may not use the Knod name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you when we have not said so.

Names and logos belonging to other organizations appear on this site because those relationships are real. They remain the property of their owners.

Ideas you send us

If you send us a suggestion about Knod, we may use it without owing you anything for it. This is not us trying to take something from you. It is so that a good idea in an email does not turn into a dispute later. Do not send us anything you consider secret.

Figures and claims on this site

Where this site cites research, it is citing specific published work carried out in specific settings, and it says which. Results at an event of yours will depend on your event. Case studies describe what happened somewhere, not what is guaranteed to happen anywhere.

Statements about what Knod will do in future are intentions, not promises. Product plans change.

Links to other places

This site links to other websites, including social networks, partner organizations, and published research. We do not control those places and we are not responsible for what they contain or do. Once you follow a link, their terms apply, not ours.

The site is provided as it is

We work to keep knod.ai accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be free of errors or never go down, and we do not promise the information on it is complete or current at every moment. To the extent the law allows, the site is provided without warranties of any kind.

Limits on what we owe

To the extent the law allows, Knod, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes

We may change this website at any time, including removing parts of it. When these terms change, the effective date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes arising from this website will be brought in the courts located there.
